XM Yachting was founded in 1977 as a distribution company, based in East Sussex. In 2001 it was purchased by Plastimo and brought into the impressive list of Navimo Companies, that currently form one of Europe’s largest Marine Distributors – the Navimo Group.

XM Yachting is now based at Hedge End, Southampton, in a modern purpose built warehouse and office complex, that is ideally placed to service the British Marine Industry. In addition to our well known XM brands such as Quickfit lifejackets, XM Antifouling , XM Technical Waterproof Clothing and XM Rope, our extensive product portfolio is growing year on year. This is being achieved by both the acquisition of new companies into the Navimo Group. Plus new distribution agreements with market leading manufacturers, examples of this include products such as Lofrans Windlasses, who were acquired by the Group in 2008, and a comprehensive range of Devocean wet suits and water toys, made by Jobe.
